Students will select a child victimized by the Holocaust, research, utilize the information learned, and design a three-dimensional memorial. The memorial will honor the life and struggles of the child selected. Students will also select an individual assignment to complete from the options given in the project specifics.
At the completion of this project the students will produce a three-dimensional memorial as a group. This memorial will incorporate at least 2 different geometrical shapes, at least 3 different colors, and at least 3 different symbols or objects. Student groups will also include a paragraph describing the memorial and the meanings behind the shapes, colors, symbols, and objects used. Finally, students will produce one of five individual projects.
